Quality Unreliable, August 23, 2012 This review is from: Dell Inspiron i15R-2105sLV 15-Inch Laptop (Silver) (Personal Computers) Purchased the latest Dell Inspiron R model this summer (2012)costing over $1K. It arrived new in box with both hardware and software problems. Dell had to send technician out to fix hardware problem and had much difficulty solving the software problem (Dell incorrectly loaded a major program onto computer-would not work, corrupted). It took Dell multiple tries to solve software install problem with multiple failures along the way. It took me almost 20 hours to get computer in usable shape despite being brand new; I am proficient on computer. In summary, new Inspiron R a lemon out of box with multiple hardware and software issues. The only customer service response received from Dell is "We are sorry." Dell refused to compensate in any way for the customer's time spent fixing the computer despite corrupt out of box. Product was unusable and Dell showed low customer service support in general. Good general Laptop, July 15, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Dell Inspiron i15R-2105sLV 15-Inch Laptop (Silver) (Personal Computers) The laptop is well balance. Good for work, Great for media with it 1 TB and ok for light gaming. IT isn't no XPS but it could get the job done. I would recommend it for Students or first time laptop owners.
